Free Injury Screens
Join us January 21st from 6pm - 8pm for Free Injury Screenings.
Whether you’ve got a nagging injury, or just want to make sure you’re moving your best, come hang out with Dr. Kari Chappell for a FREE 10-minute injury screening.
Dr. Kari Chappell is a Physical Therapist with 9 years of experience. Her first 8 years of practice were in Denver, CO treating an array of athletic injuries. She has her own clinic and specializes in preventing surgery, optimizing movement and helping people quickly recover from injury without having to take a big break from their sport or activity of choice.

We’re giving our LGBTQIA+ Meet-Up a fresh, more personal feel! Our head routesetter, Jesse, will be hosting the evening, starting at 6pm, and will help folks connect, meet new climbers, and feel welcomed in our space! We’ll kick things off with quick intros, a simple icebreaker, everyone will be given the chance to share challenges, goals, or what their working on - This evening is open to climbers of all skill levels!
Our Queer night is open to all LGBTQIA+ climbers who want a supportive and welcoming space to climb and find community!
Both members and non-members are welcome. Non-members receive a $13 day pass + free shoe rentals for the meet-up!

Community Setting Clinic
We’re stoked to offer this hands-on routesetting clinic for members to connect with climbing in a new way! This full-day clinic will cover the foundations of routesetting, including safety guidelines, movement, and forerunning techniques.

Grip Strength Pop Up
Join us for a grip strength pop-up with Glenn Fitkin at Fitkin Rehab. During this pop-up, you’ll get to try tools like Tension blocks and hangboards, learn about different grip types (like crimps), and explore how varied grip training can support performance and injury prevention.
He’ll also be measuring grip strength with a force gauge for a fun, low-pressure challenge!
Come hang out Wednesday in the fitness area between 6pm - 8pm and bring and grip strength quesitons you might have.

Winter Boulder League Sign Ups
League Sign Ups Now Open!
Terra Firma is striking up another Boulder League for the winter season. It’s time to assemble your team of 4 and compete together for 5 weeks to push your limits, grow your skills, and collect the most points for your team.
The league is open to climbers of all ages, skill levels and genders — we encourage you to build a diverse team with climbers of varying skill levels.
The Phoenix Grand Rapids Meet-Up
Thursday, December 11th, we’re excited to welcome The Phoenix Grand Rapids into our space for a FREE night of climbing and connection!
This event is hosted by The Phoenix, a sober active community built on the belief that belonging and support can change lives. The only requirement to attend is 48 hours of sobriety. Led by Jamen Spitzer, the evening is all about showing up as you are, connecting with others, and trying something new in a supportive environment.
About The Phoenix: Their mission is to build a sober active community where connection fuels resilience and people can rise, recover, and live fully. Through weekly sober events, they create safe, welcoming spaces for all.

Friendsgiving Chili Night

Craft & Climb w/ Hot Glue Creux
Join Hot Glue Creux at Terra Firma Bouldering Co for an evening of creative fun and climbing! We’ll walk you through the design process to create your own unique canvas patches using a custom designed stamp. You’ll learn how to carve a 3x4” lino block into a stamp as well as how to ink and print your own canvas patches.
💖 Design: Utilize templates and trace paper to help you get started in building your stamp design, we’ve got you!
💖 Ink: Choose from a variety of vibrant ink colors and multiple sizes of canvas patches to stamp your designs.
Combine designs with your friends and trade creations - you’ll leave with multiple patches to pin on your favorite jacket, bag or anything you want!

MoonBoard Holds Update
Keep working on your MoonBoard projects throughout the month of July! We will be replacing the 2016 hold set with the 2024 set around the middle of August. Exact date TBD.
